Class Description
CLASS INFO: In this full curriculum visual arts, we will cover the elements and principles of art, painting, drawing and multi-cultural art. - All art supplies included! - This class is designed for beginning art students, however all levels of experience are welcome to join. LEARNING GOALS: -Students will experiment weekly with different mediums, materials, processes, and art-making techniques. - Idea building and creative exploration are encouraged and critical thinking is emphasized. - Students will be taught the basic elements of art and principles of design. - Students will be introduced to well known artists of color and use artist style to inspire their pieces. - Students will learn art-related vocabulary. - Students will have opportunities to voice their thoughts about a work of art and how it makes them feel. - Students will learn how to express themselves through creative artwork and to be observant and analyze the world around them. CLASS FORMAT: A positive, inviting and comfortable class environment to encourage confidence building and creativity. - First few minutes of class will include a meet and greet, rules and expectations and questions. - The majority of the class time is spent on our art-making, drawing, painting and creating - Throughout class, student will receive direct feedback to improve their art - The last few minutes will consist of overview of the main art points learned and positive comments and feedback. CLASS SCHEDULE: 1-on-1 classes are available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and/or Fridays - Student chooses ideal date/time for sessions each week
Cancellation Policy
🎨 Allure Art Academy – Terms & Conditions Pricing & Payment: Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your child’s spot. All purchases are non-refundable, including single-day registrations, weekly camp registrations, and partially attended camp weeks. Cancellations & Missed Days: Camp registrations must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, when possible. Missed camp days, no-shows, or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of that day’s registration. Make-up days are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Sibling Discount: Sibling discounts may be offered when registering more than one child. Discounts must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be applied retroactively. Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Children must be signed in and signed out by a parent, guardian, or authorized adult. Allure Art Academy is not responsible for supervision before or after scheduled camp hours. Late pick-ups may be subject to an additional fee. Health, Safety & Allergies: Parents/guardians must disclose any allergies, medical needs, behavioral needs, or accommodations at the time of registration. Children should bring any required personal items, lunch, snacks, or water as instructed by the studio. Allure Art Academy is not responsible for undisclosed medical or allergy-related concerns. Behavior Expectations: Children are expected to follow studio guidelines, respect instructors and peers, and use art materials safely. Allure Art Academy reserves the right to dismiss a child from camp for unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior without refund. Art Materials & Activities: Camp includes creative projects such as painting, drawing, mixed media, crafts, cultural art activities, and themed projects. Activities may vary by day or week based on instructor planning, materials, and group needs. Photos & Media: By enrolling, parents/guardians grant permission for their child to be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes, including social media, flyers, website, and email marketing, unless otherwise stated in writing before camp begins. Studio Changes & Cancellations: Allure Art Academy reserves the right to modify schedules, substitute instructors, adjust activities, or cancel camp dates when necessary. If Allure Art Academy cancels a camp day, a credit or reschedule option may be issued. By registering for Summer Art Camp, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
