Allure Art Academy—formerly Allure Art Studio—is a creative sanctuary in Queens where art, healing, and community come together.
Founded by artist and educator Amy Allure, the Academy began with a simple mission: to help people discover their creative gifts, build confidence, and find their inner light through meaningful art experiences.

What started as a small neighborhood studio has grown into a larger movement.
Today, Allure Art Academy carries its original mission forward with deeper purpose and expanded offerings. We blend art education with emotional wellness, self-expression, and community care—creating a space where children, teens, and adults can create freely, grow boldly, and heal gently.
Guided by Amy's passion for empowerment and heart-centered creativity, Allure Art Academy offers youth classes, open studio sessions, adult workshops, mobile paint experiences, and soulful community programs that nurture creativity at every stage of life.

About the oWNER
Amy Simon, also known as Amy Allure, is a self-taught artist, educator, curator, and creative arts advocate born in Brooklyn and raised in Jamaica, Queens with roots in Dominica, West Indies. She began painting at 11 years old and spent nine years as an elementary school teacher before stepping fully into her artistry.

In 2019, Amy opened Allure Art Studio, a creative hub where the Queens community could learn, create, and express themselves through art. Shortly after opening, she experienced the heartbreaking loss of her father, a moment that deepened her belief in art as a healing tool. Over the years, Amy’s work has been featured in exhibitions across NYC, at Miami Art Basel, and in community-centered public art projects—including the Black Lives Matter mural on Jamaica Ave.

In 2021, she launched a youth art program focused on creativity and entrepreneurship. After the passing of her sister in 2024 and the forced closure of the studio due to increased landlord costs, Amy rebuilt her vision with renewed purpose and faith.

In 2025, she proudly opened Allure Art Academy—a dedicated art education institution offering structured courses, youth programs, creative wellness, and community events. Today, Amy continues her mission to nurture creativity, confidence, and culture in everyone through art, inspiring others to discover and celebrate their own ALLURE.
